Black and white with gold-green eyes,
your meow has the power to mesmerize.
Your silky short fur, you beg me to stroke,
gentle little mumbles, I'll likely evoke.

A talker by nature, you say oh so much,
mostly you remind me to serve up your lunch.
Missing a toe, you throw one foot wide,
yet still your strut is dignity personified.

Curled up in my arms, late at night in the bed,
softly purring and butting with your sweet little head.
It's impossible not to love you, a small bundle of fur,
you give so much more than you get, that's for sure.

You share in my life, in my thoughts and my world,
sticking close beside me, your small body curled.
I can't imagine my life without you, sweet little guy,
with your black spotted nose, and deep winking eyes.

I know all your frailties and only love you more,
like me, you're not perfect but your love is so pure.
Unconditionally and with dignity, you're always my champion,
I just couldn't ask for a more loving companion.

Oh Specky my sweet Specky, your time it draws near,
I know the day is coming when you'll no longer be here.
Your memory I will keep forever safe here in my heart,
where you can live for eternity, and we'll never be apart.

Your sweet little "nnnooowww" I will hear in my sleep,
as you call to me, reminding me I must not weep.
For safe and happy you'll be, always healthy, ever near,
Where I only need look to my dreams to have you here.
